Welcome to the Cornwall Camelid Association (CCA) website.

We are a non-profit making organisation set up to promote camelid keeping and welfare and are affiliated to the British Alpaca Society and the British Llama Association.

We have over 70 members from Cornwall and over the border into Devon, the majority who own alpacas and/or llamas (although membership is open to anyone simply interested in these wonderful animals).

As well as arranged events throughout the year (see our events page for details), we have a coloured quarterly newsletter to help members stay abreast of what’s happening in the camelid world. Its content ranges from articles on health with regular features by local camelid vets, articles by some of the bigger breeders around the country sharing best practice, adverts for camelid related products and services such as stud services, farm open days to alpaca anecdotes, photos and competitions.
